Latest Lidar anaysis

Although we have had the 2m lidar for the site for a while now and I have produced some analysis (putting the sun in various positions to cast different shadows), I have just discovered a free analysis tool which produces a "Sky View Factor" which creates images with the sun in all directions at once casting shadows in all directions.  It also produces a dozen or so other analysis types automatically.

Here are a few of the images from the first run, and even though it is only 2m data, they show much more detail than you would expect. You can see all the lost hedgelines and the ploughing patters might give us a clue as to the age of each field boundary.

Sky View Factor
Key
A = site of kiln1 trench
B = "Fish Pond" and curved boundary
C = "Roman Road" with bank running the length of main field
D = can you make out a diagonal line running from the pond to the brook?
E = linear feature on possible "Mill" site
F = Waterless Woods
G = site of kiln3
H = site of kiln2
